This is the reason I haven't been knitting lately. I had a conference in Perth all last week and then performed twice at Eurofest this weekend. I had to take up the hem of this skirt by hand which cuts into valuable knitting time (and isn't nearly as fun). Sadly it's still a little long so I will have to redo it before my next performance in October.

Perfectly justified in my opinion. You look beautiful!! (Hope you don't mind, but I snuck into your flickr from your ravelry page and saw the other dance photos too.) You have such a demure, beautiful smile when you dance. Very elegant!
Thanks Meredith, glad you like it! I too feel the effort was worth it but am quite relieved to pick up my needles again. I hate getting stabbed by pins!
